With some of the complicated designs we are planing for the exhibit, it’s only natural that we should make some prototypes of the various displays so we can make the necessary adjustments. This will save us time, and a LOT of money, when we’re ready to begin building.
Now, as Aeronaut Browning likes to say…ON WITH THE SHOW!
Special thanks to The TechShop in San Francisco for training me and letting me use their amazing shop. If you would like to learn how to use a laser cutter, visit one of The TechShop‘s locations and find out how!
NOTE: While filming the laser cutter sequences, I was very careful to have a fellow maker help me watch over the machine so we could film a safe cut.
